Simple gatherings is another book from one of my favorite authors in the home decor space .I read her Love the home you have Love the Home You Have and Make room for what you love and became a better at managing and decorating my home.With this book, I am hoping to get rid of my fear of throwing parties.Melissa gives us quick tips to make small gatherings fun and unique.Food tips which don't need a super cook and wisdom which only comes from walking the talk.The best thing is she has written this book with the budget conscious woman in mind.The one who doesn't have an unlimited budget.In fact, I am using this book to organize the pre-Diwali parties this year!What could have been better?Maybe more of those beautiful quotes and pearls of wisdom, like in the first two book by Melissa.This one is wonderful but a little bit of Melissa seems to be missing.Definitely, a must buy for all those who feel overwhelmed with the thought of entertaining and having friends over.Disclaimer: I have received this gorgeous ebook as a gift.All opinions are my own.

And that’s amazing and awesome and super inspiring.But that’s not what made me pick it up over and over and over again.What I needed most and found in the pages of this book? The reminder that events I'm planning don’t have to be overwhelming. The recognition of the celebration of the joy in the everyday. But the best part? It made my heart smile. :)
